The Forty-Fourth National Earth Sciences Gathering

The Geological Survey and Mineral Explorations of Iran (GSI), drawing upon the scientific and executive capacities of the Earth Sciences Research Institute, will hold the Forty-Fourth Earth Sciences Gathering on the occasion of World Earth Day on 1–2 Ordibehesht 1405. This scientific event, with a history of more than forty years, has been held annually by this organization with the aim of promoting knowledge and facilitating the exchange of experiences among researchers and professionals in the field of Earth sciences. It provides a unique opportunity for dialogue and for the presentation of the latest achievements in Earth sciences. This gathering will serve as a platform for enhancing scientific awareness, strengthening national cooperation in the field of Earth protection, and presenting scientific solutions to environmental challenges, and will stand as a symbol of the country’s commitment to sustainable development and the optimal management of natural resources. The special programs of this gathering include keynote lectures by distinguished professors, hands-on workshops, specialized panel discussions, and cultural competitions related to Clean Earth Day.
